iCapisce can be used intra-departmentally, inter-departmentally or publicly to educate and train "customers" on the terms, concepts, rules, codes, people, dates and phrases that define your organisation, products and perceptions.

iCapisce can complement any change management and social media campaign giving you confidence that your people have heard, learned and understood your key messages.

Your organisation has complete control over who can see your intellectual property.

Topics can be secured internally for training and change management.

Topics can also be released to the general public as part of a broader social marketing campaign.

If you use the full range of class and student management functions, then iCapisce will cost $2/person/year.

If you only make topics available to the broader public - someone we call an avid-learner - then there is no charge.

iCapisce has a strong Privacy Policy and observes the key directives of the Australian Information Commissioner and the various US COPPA and Privacy Pledge obligations.

iCapisce stores minimal personal information under strict industry storage standards. Systems are maintained and updated with all software patches as they become available within days of their availability.

Please note that no online service is 100% secure. Industry-wide security exploits are exposed every few months and we respond accordingly. Our servers are maintained in a secure data-centre with regular patches being applied to each layer of the software stack as they become available.

iCapisce uses three modalities - sight, sound and touch - to engage more of the brain in the learning process. Short, bite-size content is presented in a variety of engaging formats with successively difficult challenges. The tougher the challenge, the stronger the usable memory.

If a topic is created for use only by your "students", then there are no editorial controls imposed.

However, if a topic is made available publicly in the Topic Exchange, then it will go through an editorial process and be given an editor's star rating from 1-5 stars.

Once a topic is in circulation, it will also be subject to user feedback and a 1-5 star user-rating.

iCapisce has strict rules around capturing and sharing protected information.

We actively encourage topic-creators to use their own intellectual property or draw on the vast digital libraries of public content accessible through Creative Commons, Wikimedia Commons, Dreamstime, Smithsonian Institute and similar entities.

Where protected material is included in a topic, then it must be annotated and flagged for purposes of personal study. It must not be distributed to a wider audience without the author's permission.

The legal agreement that you enter into when registering with iCapisce puts the onus of declaration on you. Any liability for breach of copyright is assumed by you when you submit a topic to the Topic Exchange.
